The following are some of my favorite sites for nutritional and health information:

www.mercola.com  A huge site with constant updates and new information.  It has a lot of advertising and often a strong "point of view", but has invaluable information on human function and dysfunction, what to avoid, optimal health products, top medical news and a sign-up for a free newsletter.

www.westonaprice.org The Weston Price Foundation is a non-profit, tax exempt charity founded in 1999 to disseminate the research of nutrition pioneer Weston A. Price, DDS, whose studies of isolated, non-industrialized peoples established the parameters of human health and determined the optimum characteristics of human diets.  They publish the quarterly journal, Wise Traditions.

www.nutritionaltherapy.com The Nutritional Therapy Association's (NTA) philosophy is that the myriad of health problems that plague modern society result from weaknesses in the body's physiological foundations as a result of poor nutrition.  As an education organization, NTA is dedicated to helping healthcare professionals understand and reverse the tragic and unsuspected effects of the modern diet on their patients and clients.  Throughout their training programs and seminars, students access a wide range of education tools and connect nationally with other practitioners in the healing arts.

http://www.eatwellguide.org  Wholesome, fresh, sustainable food in the US and Canada.  Search for businesses in your area.

http://www.returntotradition.wordpress.com  This is a great site, focusing on localizing our food in southern Oregon, but also has great ideas that can apply to any area.

http://www.ntptalk.com
NTPtalk is a community of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners whose focus is on building healthy bodies with good nutrition. There you will find articles, recipes, resources and more. Knowledge is Power!
